I'm not feeling very well today so I figured I would buy something to help my throat out. I went to the local CVS Pharmacy and selected a bottle of NyQuil. I went up to the counter and was promptly accosted for my ID. I was so taken a back I just stared at the lady. I couldn't believe it. I don't remember the last time I was carded for something. Apparently NyQuil can cause some serious harm. I wish I had known it was such a vital resource. Is CVS afraid that underage people will buy them out of cough syrup? To add to the madness I decided to look at the directions on the back, but I stopped after reading that you aren't supposed to use NyQuil to "make you drowsy". I thought that was the whole point...
